A local move takes place within a 100-mile radius from North Miami, Florida. You will be provided with an exclusive vehicle(s), a customized crew of trained professionals, and the opportunity to be in your new home or business within hours. Many factors determine the cost of a local move. Many of these factors are within your control. For example:

  • • How ready are you when the movers arrive?
  • • Are all your belongings packed in boxes?
  • • Can the truck park close to your home or business?
  • • Do you have any special or hard to move items?
  • • Have you reserved your elevator?
  • • How much packing or unpacking, and furniture placement would you like Miami Movers to do for you?

The more information you provide your mover prior to your move date, the better your chances are of having a smooth move within your budget. We are a FULL SERVICE moving and storage company. From the smallest move whereby you pack your boxes to the largest where we take charge and pack all of your household goods including kitchens, baths, closets and your favorite books and mementos. The customer decides what his/her needs are and based on the information provided, we can determine the correct number of professional movers to get the job done. Just the way you want it.

The cost for local moving is based on the following:

  • • Number of movers needed.
  • • Time it takes to move your belongings.
  • • Driving time to and from your moving locations.

Travel time – On every local move there will be a charge of a 1 hour return travel time.

Packing materials - In order to perform your move in a professional manner, specific materials are needed to protect your household goods during handling and transport. We charge only for cardboard boxes used during the move. We do not charge for padded moving blankets used to protect your furniture, tape or bubble wrap. These packing supplies are free unless provided to the customer in advance.
